14 – Cae Helyg, Clegyr Boia

Sam hopes you will visit her amazing wilderness at Cae Helyg by Clegyr Boia

Open Saturday and Sunday

Where in St Davids can you see over 40 tree species?

In a small woodland garden within sight of the sea nestled under the protection of Clegyr Boia. A really special site created over twenty years ago by a landscape artist and now a thriving forest garden. This is a garden with a wild side!

Current custodian Sam uses everything that grows here and works with it. Expect to see bramble hedges next to Dahlia beds, take a moment in the conifer clearing or in the eucalyptus glade. A gently sloping site with lots of circular pathways and seating areas.

The garden is out of St Davids City on the St Davids Headland by Clegyr Boia. It is less than an hours walk from St Davids if you want to stretch your legs. Alternatively you may want to cycle or drive. Parking is available just off the St Justinians Road. Look for signs to CAE HELYG. The postcode is SA62 6QD but it may be easier to use the What3Words app and the garden is at: ///refer.forehand.keep. If you have any questions or if you get lost, Sam is more than happy for you to call her on 07734 088047
