Experience the beauty of Lower Treginnis, as one of the three farms operated by the charity Farms for City Children. It offers a unique opportunity for visitors to witness the incredible work of the children of the UK who take pride in maintaining the farm and gardens.

During the St Davids Open Gardens, visitors will have the chance to explore a variety of spaces within the farm. Discover the walled garden, a sanctuary where our visiting children can read and relax. Come and sit in the cobbled courtyard, rich in colour, herbs and edible plants for the farm kitchen. explore the vibrant colours of the cut flower patch and polytunnels, where an abundance of annuals will be there including dahlias, cosmos, sweet peas, sunflowers and lots, lots more! And don’t forget to wander through the thriving vegetable patch, where sustainable practices yield a bountiful harvest.

During your time with us, visitors will also be treated to awe-inspiring views of Ramsey Sound. Situated on the westernmost tip of Wales, this idyllic location offers a breathtaking panorama of the sea, capturing views of Skomer and Ramsey Island.

At Lower Treginnis Farm, the children who come to visit take in the vital task of tending to the gardens, ensuring they remain a picturesque haven for all to enjoy. From sowing seeds to transplanting, from planting out to diligent watering, these enthusiastic young farmers actively participate in every aspect of gardening.
